St. Laurence Catholic Church celebrated the annual cultural and religious Feast of Santo Niño on Saturday, January 20, 2024.

The Filipino community prepared numerous activities to commemorate the feast of Santo Niño, which is observed on the third week of January every year. The celebration began with the recitation of the Rosary, followed by the Niño Jesus procession, and continued with the Holy Mass, celebrated by Auxiliary Bishop Italo Dell’Oro, C.R.S., along with several priests.

Several banners of Nino and Eucharistic Jesus carried in the procession.

Over twenty banners displayed at the Feast of Santo Niño.

The Vietnamese Community of St. Laurence Church is centered on a culture of strong family faith and values and in the love of our Almighty God. We had a chance to participate in the Tet Celebration (Vietnamese New Year) on February 3, 2024, the Year of the Dragon. We celebrated with Holy Mass, followed by great food and festivities, including a virtual lion dance.
