New Revelations through the Eucharist

Why is the Eucharist so prominent in this private revelation?

Why is the Eucharist so prominent in this private revelation?

The answer is that the Eucharist has been substantially de-emphasized in recent decades. Heaven wants the Eucharist to be at the center of our Faith, where it belongs. Hence, the messages seek to re-establish the primacy of the Eucharist in the heart of the Church and in the hearts of the faithful, for the Eucharist is everything…

How did this de-emphasis happen? Vatican II, which lasted from 1962 to 1965, was an ecumenical council of the Catholic Church. It was a successful council and a light for the Church, since she needed to interact with the people, society, culture, and world that had changed so profoundly from anything in the past. Times had changed, and God wanted to break into the new reality of man, even as man was trying to get rid of Him. The Church was flexible on unessential matters, and, among other positive results, many souls were saved that otherwise would not have been saved had the Church taken a rigid position and “circled the wagons” in the face of the various threats to the Faith. Vatican II was, thus, a good thing for man and the Church.

However, there was also the dangerous “spirit of Vatican II” that reared its head after the council, which falsely used the council to further the agendas of individuals and groups in the Church. As Pope St. Paul VI famously put it in 1972: “Through some fissure the smoke of Satan has entered the temple of God.” There were many liturgical abuses; unorthodox theology pervaded catechetics, Catholic colleges, and seminaries; churches became unrecognizable inside; homilies became watered-down; etc. It is what Pope Benedict XVI condemned as discontinuity and rupture – a terrible misunderstanding of the council. Many saw a pre-Vatican II Church and a post-Vatican II Church, when, in reality, there is only one Church. And some in ignorance blamed Vatican II when they should have blamed the false “spirit of Vatican II.”

Vatican II was inspired by the Holy Spirit, as are all councils of the Church. It is not to blame for the problems in the Church. The truth is that there were numerous other major forces at work in the world during this time, such as the “sexual revolution,” and the rise of secularism, materialism, scientism, liberalism, technology, wealth, etc. Those who attack Vatican II have, almost universally, not read the documents and are being influenced by unorthodox leaders. It is a very serious error to say Vatican II is not from God.

What we are dealing with is the fallout from the “spirit of Vatican II,” which still pervades the Church. One of the best examples of these errors is that less and less importance has been given to the Eucharist, which is, in the words of Vatican II, “the fount and apex of the whole Christian life” (Lumen Gentium, 11). The Novus Ordo Mass was a breath of fresh air for the faithful, as it was intended to be, and it has undoubtedly saved many souls. But the Vatican II document on the sacred liturgy, Sacrosanctum Concilium, is still not being followed completely. The Novus Ordo sadly has been viewed by many as an ongoing experiment, and the end result is that the Eucharist has been de-emphasized.

The Eucharist has not been given the attention and reverence it deserves over the last 50 years. Tabernacles were moved from the center of the sanctuaries, Communion Rails were taken out, benediction services and Forty Hours Devotions became practically nonexistent. The liturgical abuse of receiving Communion in the hand was eventually accepted as the norm. This practice, and the reception of the Precious Blood by the faithful, has led to very many sacrileges (Hosts being dropped or stolen, and the Precious Blood being spilled). But this never came from the Vatican, which, to this day instructs that we should receive on the tongue while kneeling, as it was in past. Reverence for the Body and Blood of Christ must be renewed!

After The Six Kowtows, the Eucharist is the greatest focus in the messages given by heaven through Lucia Phan. The Eucharist is mentioned continually in the messages. Lucia Phan has been able to capture literally a multitude of miraculous images of the Eucharist – both photos and videos – on her cell phone. Some of these can be seen on our websites and in our books.

Indeed, the ideal way to practice The Six Kowtows is before the Eucharist in the monstrance or in the tabernacle: the message given through Lucia Phan is encapsulated in The Six Kowtows and the Eucharist. There are other elements in the messages, such as end-times prophecies, but even in these times, they are secondary to the paramount importance of coming back to God in prayer (prayer, or our relationship with God, is the ultimate preparation and protection in these times). One of the kowtows – the fifth – is, in fact, lifted up to the Body and Blood of Jesus. To be sure, this private revelation is a Eucharistic private revelation.

The Eucharist is central to the Faith. There was not a saint who was not devoted to the Blessed Sacrament. Anyone who teaches that the Eucharist is not of the greatest importance is not to be trusted. We must come back to the Holy Mass, receive our Lord worthily, adore Him in the Eucharist, and visit the Blessed Sacrament frequently. Everyone must come back to God in the Eucharist!

The Eucharist is Jesus Christ. We must worship and adore Him in the greatest of the sacraments, the Divine Sacrament. As we should have learned in catechesis: “I am the LORD your God: you shall not have strange gods before me.” Even the central action of our Faith, Sunday Mass, is the Eucharist, and in heaven the eternal liturgy is a Eucharistic liturgy. We die without the Eucharist.

Just as we must not put the Eucharist aside in some corner in a church, as happens so often, we must not put Jesus in a closet within us. Jesus, the Eucharist, must be at the center of our souls. If we are not intensely devoted to the Eucharist, we must ask ourselves if we are intensely devoted to God. Certainly, Mary, the pope, the Church are very important in the spiritual life, but the Eucharist must be our all in all, the reason of our being. De-emphasizing the Blessed Sacrament is from the devil, so we must counteract this with a renewed devotion to Jesus in the Eucharist. In sum, this is why heaven has finally given us a Eucharistic private revelation. As the old hymn says,

“O Sacrament most Holy, O Sacrament Divine,

All praise and all thanksgiving be every moment thine!”
